While we depend on adjusters, surveyors, and attorneys to help us in investigating claims, we always make sure they follow our instructions and move each pending case toward a speedy resolution.
Our claim departments work to a set of strict service standards. Our goal is to confirm receipt of the claim within one working day. In motor claims we inspect the damage to the policyholder's car the next working day after the loss report. The AIG Companies financial strength allows us to make prompt payments to policyholders. In simpler cases, we strive to pay claims within 48 hours.
